Stress Check-In (PSS-10)

A quick assessment of how stressed you've felt over the past month.

About This Questionnaire

The PSS-10 (Perceived Stress Scale) measures the degree to which situations in one's life are appraised as stressful. Developed by Sheldon Cohen in 1983, it remains one of the most used psychological instruments for measuring perceived stress.

What It Measures

  • How often you felt things were out of control
  • Ability to cope with stressors effectively
  • Frequency of feeling overwhelmed or unable to manage
  • Perceived ability to handle personal problems

Important Note

The PSS-10 measures subjective stress perception — not objective stressors. High stress perception is linked to health outcomes including cardiovascular risk and immune function. Results are private and stored only on your device.
